About the founder
Ever since I was a child I have been drawn to the mystery. What are we doing here and why? My name is Joe Donahue. Much of this current life I was surrounded by shadow but was afraid to face it. This took me down many paths that some would say lead to destruction. There cannot be rebirth without death. Death comes in many forms. I have always been highly sensitive which made it very painful to be here. This led to years of addiction and all that goes with that, welfare, the court systems, institutions, therapists, recovery groups, halfway houses, pharmaceuticals, harm reduction techniques, etc... To getting sober, becoming a substance abuse/ crisis intervention counselor, and case manager at a young men's halfway house, helping men and women. We live many lives just in this one life always being guided by an unseen force.
I have spent the last 15 years helping men to remember who they are. Through a variety of modalities. Over the past 6 years I have been in a major transition of awakening. I have studied and worked with many teachers and healers from around the globe. Shamanism, Hermeticism, Somatics, Reiki, Chanting, Ecstatic dance, yoga, sound healing to name a few. I have learned that all the answers are within if we can get quiet enough to hear them. The power is within, it was never out there. This is where embodiment comes in. We must come back into our bodies and ground before we can reach higher levels of consciousness. This is where I was introduced into men's work and embodiment practices which changed the course of my life. This is where I developed my deep connection to nature, which is us.
Our bodies hold a vast intelligence once we learn how to listen. For far too long we have been taught to use logic, to analyze. This does serve a purpose, but we must learn to feel. To know our hearts. We are far more than mind. We are infinite. The microcosm and the macrocosm. As Above, So Below, As within, So without.
In this life I have had many initiations to break me into a million pieces to be built in a new way. I am here to guide others to put the pieces back together, to get back to their true selves beneath the programs. Through our lives we become fragmented due to traumas and life in general. There is a reason behind this. All is Divinely orchestrated whether we believe it or not. It is a journey of remembering.
I am a father, son, brother, worker, teacher, friend, partner. I am a certified Transpersonal Facilitator with years of practice of deep inner work and work with others. Continual daily practices to sharpen my edge so that I may help others do the same. My interests include meditation, sungazing, being with the ocean or walking in the woods, breathwork, movement, music, reading, consciousness, being a father to two magical daughters, reading, art and enjoying the relationships I have. Life is always gonna life, we must learn to flow with it.
What I offer is a deep sense of presence, safety, an open heart, intuition and empathy. I have seen and heard it all. We all are searching for the same thing here as humans. LOVE. Whether that is through addiction, abuse, co-dependencies, seeking materials. It all boils down to seeking love. This void can never be filled externally although we try and try. We are all just children looking for love.
